Medical Massage

Although medical massage is sometimes prescribed by a physician for a specific condition, you can also choose medical massage on your own to heal chronic aches and pains, speed post surgery recovery and rehabilitation, correct posture issues and treat many other injuries in the comfort of your own home. 

In-Home Services and Convenient Scheduling

You can schedule therapy in your own home at a time that works best for you. Think of the benefits: not having to take time off from work to see your provider, avoiding the extra time and hassle of travel or child-care arrangements, and being able to relax immediately after therapy instead of rushing back to work or home. Evening and weekend appointments are available at no additional charge for those in the Clermont, Groveland, Minneola, Winter Garden areas. 

Professional Products and Therapeutic Treatments

During treatment in your home, you be treated to the highest quality products and therapeutic devices available.  MyoMed cream (See above link) is used to limit pain and inflammation.  If needed, I also rely on the therapeutic treatments of ultrasound and electric stimulation during your session for no additional cost.  There are never “al-a-carte” charges or “add on’s” for treatments that you might encounter in physical rehabilitation centers or spas

Ultrasound Treatments

Ultrasound therapy is often beneficial in treating injuries because it helps to reduce the healing time of certain soft tissue by increasing blood flow to the injury site. Ultrasound may also stimulate the production of more collagen- the main protein component in soft tissue such as tendons and ligaments. Collagen can also reduce the fibrous scar tissue that may form after an injury.

Electrical Stimulation Treatments

Electrical stimulation causes a single muscle or a group of muscles to contract, which helps to strengthen the affected muscle.  Along with increasing muscle strength, the contraction of the muscle also promotes blood supply to the area that assists in healing.

Rates

Relaxation rates $75 per hour.

Medical Rates start at $85 for self pay clients.

Insurance claims submitted for massages will be at the current Florida State Medical Billing per unit rate and patients may be responsible for their co-pay per plan.  PIP and Workman’s Comp. claims will be required to fill out all of the necessary paperwork prior to treatment and execute a Letter of Protection.
